Do you have a challenging time with your schedule?
Well, you’re not alone! Nearly everyone I know and nearly everyone I’ve ever coached can relate to this in some way. This includes: feeling like there is too much to do, feeling like there is not enough to do, feeling overworked, overtired, not knowing how to fit everything in, not leaving enough time for important things, getting places late, and so on.
Most people have at least one obstacle or challenge around how they use their time and manage their schedule.
And here’s the good news!: There are a lot of wonderful, useful tools out there for time management and schedule creating. There are in fact a number of Woman Wisdom Time Management Tools I’ve developed myself that work wonders for people who are ready to move through their lives at a different pace and in a different way. They can be really helpful in allowing you to prioritize and make space and time.
However, before you dive into the practical how-tos of time management, there is a VERY important yet nearly always overlooked first step to managing your time and schedule. ...keep reading

Delegating is so incredibly important because the more successful you become and want to be, the more responsibility there is. You are not supposed to be doing it all on your own! In fact, any good leader knows that the way to accomplish all that you want to accomplish is by enlisting others to help you out.
By asking for support on your projects, soul-centered goals, and in your life, not only do you achieve what you want to achieve more quickly and easily, but you also avoid exhaustion and overwhelm. And here’s the added bonus: when you enlist others to help you out, you are empowering those support individuals by putting responsibility and power in their hands.
What I’ve found is that, for the most successful results on any project or goal, it’s important ...keep reading

Congratulations on your birthday! Does that make you 40 years-old now?
I heard about your brother’s sudden illness - is everything okay?
You landed the position, that’s amazing! How do you feel about leaving your ten year post at your old office?
What do all of these situations have in common? They each mark a major transition in a person’s life. A transition is anything from moving to a new career to an anniversary, birthday, divorce, marriage, letting go of a loved one, or anything else that marks the passing of one phase of your life into another.
While these periods can sometimes be very joyful or beautiful like a birthday, or difficult like leaving a job or getting a divorce, transitions effect us on a deep level because they signify groundbreaking change or movement both on an inner and outer level.
In addition to all of the joys or challenges that come along with it, a time of transition is also an opportunity to create new beginnings and harness the energy of the change to really move you forward in significant ways.
Whenever I work with women going through a transition in their lives, we spend time examining its significance. One of the places I like to start, in order to help them understand and grapple with the transition as well as honor and move forward in their lives, is by having them answer the following three questions: ...keep reading

Stress can sometimes seem to come out of nowhere.
Work is flowing wonderfully, you are accomplishing your creative goals, you are finding time for family and keeping your apartment clean - nothing could be sweeter. Then, you receive a fateful phone call that turns everything on its head in mere moments - you lose your highest paying client, a close family member falls extremely ill, your landlord wants to sell your apartment by the end of the month - and suddenly you are plunged into a period marked by worry, fear and a whole lot of stress.
Even if you are the most calm and balanced woman, you can pretty much count on the fact that stress WILL happen in your life. However, ...keep reading

Let’s say Geena is your friend of many years. She is a smart, creative, go-getter and beautiful to top it off - a source of admiration for many. Yet still, she confides in you, whenever she lands a major success like getting published in a popular publication or being accepted into a competitive position, she has this creeping sense of being a fraud, as if she does not deserve it, brushing it all off with “oh, it’s really nothing.”
You can hardly believe it when she expresses feelings of insecurity to you despite her many positive qualities. When it comes to her own personal life goals and dreams, you are surprised that she expresses a deep lack of confidence in pursuing them.
Do you know anyone like this?
Even though Geena may seem like an extreme example, the truth is ...keep reading

“When people don’t get what they want from life, usually it’s because they don’t know what they want.” - Keith Ellis
Do you know what you want out of life?
Do you really know what you want out of life?
I’m not talking about a having the perfect figure, designer handbags, or the title of CEO. Of course, all of these things can be really great. However, I’ve known many women who have the perfect homes, luxurious cars, and thriving businesses, or other women who have great bodies, wonderful children, and all of the recognition for their work in the world, and yet - these women are unhappy. They still wake up day in and day out and have a sense that something is missing, that their lives are incomplete, that they aren’t fully living as they want to.
Why do they feel so empty, as if they haven’t quite stepped into their path in life? Why do they feel their lives and the big projects they are working on lack meaning, focus, and inspiration? It’s because they aren’t clear on what they really want. It’s because they don’t have a soul-centered vision for themselves or their projects.
So, when I ask you what you want out of life, what I am really asking is: ...keep reading

In our Modern World, life can get really busy and really fast. We spend a lot of time and energy running around, and also place a lot of importance on our left brains - our rational minds.
Despite all this, somewhere, deep in our souls, we know the importance of slowing down and connecting to our inner wisdom, connecting to our right brains - that place of deep intuition and creativity that holds so many answers and so much richness for us.
Here is a list of my absolute favorite top 5 ways to really settle in and listen to the treasury of wisdom that your heart and soul has for you. None of them need to take up a lot of time or effort! Connecting to your inner wisdom can be easy and flowing.
1) Journaling: To cut through the mind’s chitter chatter and get straight to your inner wisdom, journaling works best if you write fast, without stopping, without worrying about grammar or language, or even full sentences. The name of the game is here is to write quickly without judgement or even thought, and see what comes up for you. It helps to start with a provocative phrase like: “I am a woman who…..” or “I am here….” ...keep reading

You are a daughter of the earth, a lover, a mother, an artist, a daughter, a friend, a healer….a woman.
You are complete already, whole unto yourself. Your heart is the barometer for what is right in your life.
You have choice. Choice is freedom. At any moment, you can choose to step into the flow, step into your flow and move along with the energy.
Honor yourself. Love yourself. Know you were put in this planet to do amazing things with your love. Open. Open. Open more. ...keep reading

Over the years, I have noticed that some of the most common, most painful, and most challenging blocks stem from thinking patterns. Often, it’s not our outside circumstances, our luck, our families or our businesses that keep us stuck. Instead, what tends to hold us back and hurt us the most comes from deep inside - from our ways, in fact our patterns, of negative thinking.
When a negative thinking pattern gets activated, outside circumstance and rationale fade away, and those judgment-based, guilt-laden, chaos-seeking inner voices take over to color reality.

As we reach the end of June, we are coming upon the half-year mark. This is a wonderful time to take stock of how far you’ve come with your goals for 2009 and plan how to leverage your time and align your actions to follow through on all your goals with joy and confidence by the end of the year.
Does this sound familiar to you?: Very often, by the time June rolls around, not only have you gotten stuck around our yearly goals, but sometimes you even forget what they were!
I’m going to take you through a special Soulful Coaching for Busy Women exercise that will help you take stock of where you are with your goals, see what has been in your way of accomplishing them, re-focus them if they are no longer resonating with you, and then create a clear and easy action plan for reaching success: ...keep reading
